Teri Harrison is a retired United States Army officer who served as a captain at Fort Benjamin Harrison. She is the author of the book "I'm Tim Maude, and I'm a Soldier: A Military Biography of Lieutenant General Timothy J. Maude".
Harrison was born in 1955 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in English in 1977. She then joined the United States Army and was commissioned as a second lieutenant. She served in a variety of assignments, including as a company commander and a battalion staff officer.
In 1989, Harrison was assigned to Fort Benjamin Harrison, where she served as a captain in the Adjutant General's Corps. She was responsible for managing the post's personnel records and awards program. She also served as the post's Equal Opportunity Officer.
Harrison retired from the Army in 1993. She then worked as a civilian employee at Fort Benjamin Harrison until the post closed in 1996. She then moved to Washington, D.C., and worked as a government contractor.
